Delete your Vichats account

In the app

• Open Vichats and go to Settings → About → Delete account.
• Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
• We send you an email. Open the link in it and press Delete my account.

No longer have the app?

Email support@vichats.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my Vichats account". We reply to check that the request is yours and then delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted

• your account, email address and password;
• your name, @id, profile photo and bio;
• your contacts, blocks and the sign-ins of your phones;
• photos and files still waiting on our server.

What is kept

• Messages you already sent stay in the other person's chat, shown as from "Deleted account".
• Reports about the account are kept as long as needed to handle them (report photo copies for 90 days).
• Server backups are kept for up to 14 days, so deleted data may remain in a backup until it expires.
